I’ve spent the past year volunteering in Poland at Pszczyna NZPE School through ESC, and it has been an incredible experience. I got to work in an international environment, gain new skills, and explore the country as a tourist.
What I loved most about the job was the freedom and variety of activities. By the end of the project, I had developed my project management skills by organizing school events, including the first-ever English Theater Day – a completely new concept for the school.
I also got to help organize school excursions to different cities, visiting theaters, museums, and cinemas. Another highlight was working with children, teaching them English through creative activities like singing, composing, and acting.
Looking back, 2024 has been one of the best years of my life. This experience helped me grow in ways I never expected and discover a new side of myself.
